Yoga Instructors

With over 400 hours of yoga teacher training, In Jennifer’s Class, you can expect a powerful flow accessible to all levels that is breath focused and designed to empower the student. Jennifer is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Which recognizes her as an expert in one or more of yoga alliances continuing education categories.

Jennifer is committed to meeting her students where they're at and being an invitation to find a new edge of possibility. As a yoga teacher, Jennifer values how what shows up on the mat can be used in everyday life. By opening to a new way of being on the mat, a new way of being in life opens up off the mat.

“Within the first 5 asana’s (poses), you arrive at the asana, Samastithi. Which means, to stand at attention and be witness.  I translate that to mean: To stand in witness of who you are, and who you’re not, without judge or jury.

Inhale what serves and fill up with what you need. Exhale and arrive at a new version of empty to make room for the new. Clean out your internal house via breath.  Through the physical practice of yoga, I strive to open your eyes to what it means to stand inside of yourself with pride, compassion and be able to live your truth, whatever it may be, without fear.

Through the physical practice of Yoga, be awakened to something larger than you so that you can be inspired to rise above and find your power on the mat in order to live it off.  Inhale and exhale what no longer serves. Arrive at a new version of empty to make room for the new.

From my class you can expect: Dynamic flow, sweat, philosophy, alignment, breath work, soul work and sound healing to close.”

SARAH MEYER: BA Psychology, E-RYT200, RYT500

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Sarah became certified to teach yoga in 2016 through Kranti Yoga in Goa, India. Her love for yoga was first sparked by its ability to get our bodies moving. However, it is the breath-body connection that keeps Sarah passionate about this practice. She believes that the physical practice of yoga has the ability to lift us out of stagnation and bring us into a more peaceful state of awareness. Sarah hopes that through this practice, you will connect deeper with your body, find peace of mind and create an intentional space to breathe both on and off your mat.

What began as a quest to add to her fitness journey, Yoga quickly became a dedicated and passionate yoga practice. The connection to spirituality, the improved mental health and the many benefits that yoga extended beyond the physical practice, both on and off the mat, lead Nicki to become a certified 200 RYT.

Nicki’s mission to provide partitioners with the tools to evolve their consciousness with a strong foundation of asanas, pranayama, and meditation. Her classes meld together awareness, movement, and breathing to bring each student to a new level of self-love and understanding. With inclusion, compassion, and understanding, Nicki creates a welcoming environment to all levels of yoga practitioners. She creatively couples her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with anatomy, breath, and spirituality to achieve an innovative yoga approach.

In Nicki’s classes, you can expect a Vinyasa flow that will challenge you but is accessible for all. Her students will be encouraged to connect breath and physical movements as a form of mindfulness meditation.

Angela Lowry’s path to yoga was not a straight line.  She’s spent years challenging her mind and body through training for and competing in triathlons, swimming the span of the Golden Gate Bridge and rowing competitively for the past 5 years. When attending yoga classes, she found that after each practice she felt better and better about herself. Yoga steadily became a vehicle for positive change both physically and mentally.

With a long-held desire to teach, Angela’s progression from Yoga student to Yoga teacher seemed a natural one. Angela received her 200+ hour RYT through InspiredThrive Yoga in Dec. 2018.

“I began my yoga journey from a desire to become healthier and feel better about myself physically. The mental and emotional benefits have been both unexpected and phenomenal. I’ve had a lifelong love of learning and have always been open to trying new things. When I started my personal yoga practice I fell in love with how calm, centered and balanced I felt when I finished a class. The tenant I teach from is ‘Leave people in their own greatness’. I want to empower others and inspire them to live in knowing they are powerful and full of possibility.”

She believes that with breath and practice, anyone can change their life for the better--that we all can become comfortable with the uncomfortable and make forward progress

She is a seeker of knowledge and personal growth and continually strives for deeper learning of the chakras, yamas and niyamas.

In Angela’s class, you can expect a challenging vinyasa flow class for all levels, delivered with kindness and compassion that leaves you feeling powerful and balanced.

Delana began her journey into Yoga while studying Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University. As a long-distance runner, she was looking for cross training that would better her strengths in running. After graduating she fell into the corporate rat race but her heart was always in the fitness industry. In 2015 she pursued her 200-hour teacher training and began teaching yoga at gyms in Colorado. The corporate world would send her to Rhode Island, Illinois, back to Colorado, and then finally to her new found love, Sonoma County. She began teaching in Petaluma before joining the Inspired Fitness team in July of 2019.

The 200-hour training was a major turning point in Delana’s life, it took her from living 100% inside of her Type A head to opening her mind to the spiritual world. She learned to slow down, appreciate the challenges that used to frustrate her, and open herself to fresh possibilities. She lives with the love of her life and his two beautiful daughters. Being a bonus Mom is her new favorite hobby. Delana’s classes will ground you, invite you to look within, and challenge you to be the best version of yourself. She cannot wait to see you on the mat.

TIFFANY CARDENAS: 200-hr RYT, Yoga, Barre, Inferno Hot Pilates

Tiffany fell in love with yoga when she was pregnant with her first child, and practiced prenatal yoga throughout both of her pregnancies. After having two children, yoga became her “me time” and helped her be a more patient mother. It also helped her on her fitness journey, along with Barre and Inferno Hot Pilates, after realizing two pregnancies and aging were taking their toll on her body and health. She decided to take a yoga teacher training, and has been amazed by the personal growth she has experienced during this journey. She now teaches yoga and meditation in private sessions, corporate classes, special events, and group classes.

After becoming a yoga teacher, she discovered that the attention to detail that made her successful in her former IT career translated well to teaching yoga and fitness. She developed a fascination with anatomy and the way the body moves, which led her to train to teach barre as well. She loves helping students experience the amazing benefits these modalities offer.

Tiffany is a 200-hr RYT, Barre Instructor, and Inferno Hot Pilates Instructor. She has additional training in Senior Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Kids and Family Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
